Change duration of mogrt in premiere pro

I make videos which have subsections for which I have animated titles. I want to make titles such that depending on the length of the subsection of the video, the title's duration adjusts accordingly without affecting the intro or outro of the animation.

I want to export this template into premiere pro with controls (sliders?) to adjust the duration of the animated title depending on the length of the clip of the subsection.

You can lock the time of sections like transitions in and out and then allow the middle part to be changed in Premiere Pro by just grabbing the in or out point of the graphic layer and dragging. I don't have time to go through the workflow right now, but it's pretty straight forward and you should be able to find it by checking out the Essential Graphics section of the User Guide by simply typing Essential Graphics in AE's Search Help field in the top right corner of the app.

AE's Responsive Design Time feature allows you to set Protected Regions on your timeline to protect these regions from being time-stretched when the clip's duration is time-stretched in either PPro (as a MoGRT) or AE (as a nested Comp).

Done! Thank you. I had been looking at old tutorials which were taking me in circles using expressions. Just to add my two cents to the correct answer:

- if the protected region is within a comp then it will time-stretch properly as a mogrt in PPro.

- however, if the protected region in within a comp and then that is within another comp, even though it will work in AE, it will not work in PPro i.e. cannot be time-stretched.

You're right. Protected Regions are only active for one nesting routine in both AE and PPro - more than one and the featur breaks.
