character disapearing

So I was getting onto after effects and I wanted to make a simple animation and after I animated to the certain point the character would just dissapear and I don't know what to do.

i think you import your PSD as a footage so you get the layer size, and you should import is as a retina layer size

I made the character (the stickman) in after effects and then I just added the ground and sky from photoshop

It looks like your animation is made on a solid layer.

Solids have set dimensions (width & height) that red border you see is where they end.

You can't move something on a solid layer past the ediges of that layer.

You can make the solid larger, Layer >Solid Settings but this will probaly screw up the alignment of the parts of your characters body.
