Checking used media

I want to check if a composition uses some media or not so I can safely delete them.
Anyone knows how?

I thought about making media offline but I can't find an option for that so considering this a suggestion?

The best way to do this is to use the File > Dependencies > Reduce Project. This command removes all the items not used inside the selected composition (maintaining precomps). Another useful command is File > Dependencies > Remove Unused Footage.

Anyway, if you want to review clip by clip, you can select them in the project panel. Then you will find a drop down menu over the name of the file (thumbnail area). This dropdown menu indicates you if the selected file is used and even in what composition and what layer number.
