Collect not working correctly

Project Collect is not working correctly. When "Selected Comps" and "reduce project" is selected as options, still collects every asset and precomp in the project.

Running After Effects ver 23.5 in a Mac Studio M2 Ultra Ventura 13.5.2 (Not running 23.6 since it continuously crashes and has a memory leak problem with M2 chips).

There hasn't been code changes to Collect Files in about a year, and I can't reproduce what you're seeing locally. Can you do a "Generate Report Only" and post that back here so we can understand more what's happening?

As to M2 issues, we aren't aware of anything specific causing on-going crashes or memory leaks. There is a dual display bug Apple are looking into, but if you have specific crashes, please submit them (make sure to put your forums email into the crash dialog) and we can take a look at our end on what is crashing.

It happens from time to time. I've narrowed it to situations where there are some heavy pro-res files in the project.
