Comp outputs not displaying image

HI,

When I render a comp in after effects the .MOV file only has the quicktime icon. How can I get it to display the image of the file?

That's up to the operating system and codec, so look up the format you're exporting and see if Mac supports icons for that. Sometimes you can find plugins to help with this, or use another format.
