Composition is not updating on CC18

Whatever changes i made on timeline, the composition window does not show any of that.
It occurs after opening a project.
I can only be able to see the changes I made by pressing the Caps Lock key twice
Need help in this issue

You can try some of these steps:

A.- Edit > Purge > All Memory and disk cache

B.- File > Project Settings and select Mercury software only under the Video rendering and Effects tab

C.- Update your graphics card driver to the latest version available

D.- Go to Edit > Preferences (After Effects > Preferences if you are using macOS). Under the Display category deactivate temporarily the Hardware accelerate composition, layer and footage panels.

The last thing is to delete your preferences file. As soon as you launch AE press and hold CONTROL+SHIFT+ALT (COMMAND+SHIF+OPTION if you are on macOS). You will be prompted to delete the preferences file. Click OK and try again.
