Color of content aware fill reference frame got darker after I created it. Does anyone know what cause this problem?

sorry, but your post is not much use to anyone. You have to provide screenshots, provide system info and all that and explain your exact steps and procedures. Just saying that it behaves different from what you expect or had before really doesn't tell us anything.

I am having the same issue. When I click on create reference frame, the frame gets really darker on After effects and then, it opens Photoshop that's also darker.

This is the original frame:
