Crash

My after effect was running smoothly without any problem but suddenly after a quick restart of the software, it stopped working. The preview screen wont show up, in place of preview screen the base screen with new composition and load coposition stays.  And it crashes in 30sec - 1min

Start by deleting the preferences and cleaning out the cache folders. Anything beyond that would require proper system info and other techznical details.

• What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)?
• What's the exact version of After Effects?
• How do you launch After Effects - by double-clicking a project file or by clicking the After Effects icon?

Please share the details above so that we know what you're working with. Also, did you try resetting the preferences as suggested by Mylenium?
