I’m developing an AE efffect plugin on my Mac. My Xcode project is setup to install the plugin, and launch AE whenever I run from Xcode. This makes debugging much easier.
Unfortunately it makes AE 900% slower. For example, it normally takes AE 10 seconds to launch. However, when being launched via Xcode it takes 93 seconds. This has always happened to some degree, however, it got worse when I upgraded to Mac OS 11.3.
Can you think of anything that I could do to improve the performance? Maybe there are some debugger settings that I could change?
