Dependencies - Collected project assets contain no data

When using dependencies to collect a project file, all compiled assets contain no data. This is occuring for all projects I attempt to collect.

Could this be a privacy and security data access issue? After Effects has "Full Disk Access."

Machine specs:
Macbook Pro 16-inch, 2021

Apple M1 Max

64GB RAM

2TB SSD

The following are the settings in the "Collect Files" dialouge box. Note the "3 file(s) (63.0 MB) will be collected."

Here is a .psd file found after hitting "collect..." in the compiled assets folder, "Adobe Photoshop file - Zero bytes." When trying to open those assets I recieve a "Could not open because the file is empty" error message.

If anyone has ran into a similar issue and found a resolution, any insight would be appreciated!

Hi John23688184nodx,

Sorry for your issue. This is not ideal.

Where your project and media files are saved - are you using network or external storage? If so, for testing could you try bringing them to the local drive and then collect?

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Nishu

I'm running into a similar issue, but with assets in exported MOGRT files. They appear offline/missing in Premiere, and when I navigate to the collected assets in Finder, they all appear as zero bytes. We're unable to use any images/videos in MOGRT templates because of this.

Hi John23688184nodx & jordanf53182507,

Could you try creating a new user account on your computer and try collecting files? It'll help us to understand if this issue is related to permissions.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Nishu
