Hi everyone, first post here and I was just wondering if anyone knows how to do this transition. It is used a few times in this video on the link below. The image sort of twists and flys forward in 3d. Its hard to explain in writing. Its the very first transition (with the image and text) and then it happens again at 0.37 seconds and again at 0.59 seconds. I would love to know how this effect is done, or even just know what the transition is called so I can buy a template. I have searched google but having no luck finding this style transition, hoping someone on here might be able to help me.

Maybe its done in after effects? Using some sort of 3d camera trick I don't know about?

Any help would be great.

Thanks Carl

Looks like basic keyframe animation of position rotation, scale and opacity with motion blur & maybe some other blurs.  Starts with a semi-opaque solid under text over footage which all spins grows (or comes forward) and fades along with footage so the next footage is fully revealed.  It does look the text is 3d as it appears to lay down a bit as it flys out.

I suppose it could be called a "3D flyout" & it could probably be done a few different ways.  It's slick & well timed but nothing mysteriou
