Dual Monitor Ventura on an M1 iMac

I'm using an M1 iMac running Ventura OS with the latest version of After Effeects (23.3.0). I have a dual-monitor setup but I can't figure out how to have After Effects on both monitors. I found several YouTube videos showing how to expand the workspace, but they're all for Windows. Is there a way to do this on a Mac? Does the resolution of both monitors have to match?
