Dynamink link and workflow with After effects and Premiere pro

I wanted to edit something out from a video by using the content aware fill feature in After Effects. I selected the portion of the video I needed and right clicked on it to select something like the After Effects composition option. I got redirected to After Effects where I made some changes and edits,mask and stuff and then saved it. The corresponding change was reflected in Premier Pro. So, can I close After Effects now? I mean I still have some stuff to edit in Premier Pro only. Will closing After Effects mess something?

Please elucidate.

Thanks for writing in.

While you're working in Premiere Pro, After Effects can be closed without any issue. You can even drag and drop the After Effects project in Premiere Pro and it'll work just fine.
