Element 3D causing After Effects to crash

So recently I got Element 3d for After Effects on my Mac, but as soon as I apply to it to a layer and select "scene setup", it causes After Effects to crash. I've updated After Effects and changed up some of the system preferences but none of that has worked. I just end up getting the same crash log. Could it just be due to the fact that Macs aren't capable of rendering in 3D? Here are my specs below....

macOS Catalina

Version 10.15.17

Processor: 2.3 Ghz Dual-Core Intel Core i5

Memory: 8 GB 2133 Mhz DDR4

Startup Disk: Macintosh HD

Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 1536 MB

I'll also provide a picture of the crash log that comes up each time I select "scene setup" in Element 3D.

E3D never ran on intel-only graphics. That is even mentioned on the requirements page.
