Hi Guys

I'm working with Ae 22.5 (build 53), but only installed this version recently.

Every now and again I get the error message below when I open Ae.

It probably boils down to temporary inaccessibility of CoDecs and/ or the prefs files themselves, which could be anything from a GPU related issue with decoding to genuine user permission problems. most of the times when user report this, some of their hardware components have gone in idle mode and I believe on Win 11 there is quite a number of confirmed bugs with power management. so it may be worth delving into the respective system control panel. Otherwise I'd make sure to check whether the computer is fully "alive" before exiting the program which could be as trivial as tabbing to e.g. an open web browser or launching a small app like the text editor. This would force all components to wake up and may prevent the issue.
