error message: "adobe after effects must be installed to import this file"

Hi

When I try to import at simple transition from After Effects to Premiere Pro i got a error message "adobe after effects must be installed to import this file".

Both Premiere Pro and After Effects are updated. I use a windows computer. 

I hope that you can help me.

Thanks. 

I did try to import a aep file. But it is not working. 

 

I have also tried to import a mow file to Premiere pro. I exported it from After Effects after pressed the button 'Add to Render Queue'. Then Premiere Pro says Error Message: We were unable to open the file. 

 

I am not using dynamic link. I am still a beginner. 🙂

Hi there,

Premiere Pro should be able to import the .aep file. How do you import the file? Do you go to File > Import, drag and drop the file, or something else? Try importing using Media Browser.
