don't know if it happens only to me.. but when I export a comp from AE to AME in mp4 (and the comp doesn't have an audio track) the final video has strange noise audio.
Without any idea about the actual contents of the project, render settings, your system, audio settings and even trivail stuff like what player/ viewer you use to verify the output we can't really know. The assumption would have to be that you simply picked a preset in AME, but forgot to turn off audio encoding in the settings. For anything beyond that speculation you have to provide much more info.
