Fonts not changing in essential graphics, Specially with older files,

We need to re-apply the expression or re-link the path.

Adobe please look into it.

What version of After Effects are you using? Are you using MacOS or Windows? Could you provide us with a project file that repeats the issue? Seems to be working fine at my end.

After-effect Version : 24. and using MacStudio 

Explanation:

If we use an old file (Which worked on older version 23 and below), Try to change the font inside the comp which is in the essential graphics. Is not working - It shows the font has been changed but outside the comp, it is not changing, showing an old/Default font style.
