I placed glow on my background and want it to react to an audio but just the low frequencies like kicks and bass. So that the glow turns off with treble. Only the problem is that when there is a kick the glow is off and when there is no bass it glows even more. Is there a way to have it turned around?

Can you provide more info about which effect(s) you're using for this setup?

Quick thoughts - some audio-reactive effects allow you to dial in specific frequency ranges to be displayed. You can also consider making an alternate version of the track, EQ'd specifically to isolate the frequencies you want to display, and use that to drive the instance(s) of your visualization. If you have access to stems (isolated instrument tracks), this second one is pretty straightforward.
