HELP FOR ELLIPSE TOOL

I want to select the ellispe by clicking with the right button of my mouse on the rectangle but when I click nothing happens. So I'm stuck with the rectangle. Same for the pen... help me pls

You don't right-click to change tools in AE. You just hold down the left mouse button. You may want to read the online help on these basics.

Use the keyboard shortcut 'q' to cycle through the parametric shape types. The other option is to do what Mylenium suggested, click and hold and select the tool you want. 

Every tool has a keyboard shortcut. You'll find them by hovering over the tool unless you have turned that feature off in Preferences.
