How can I Isolate a person rapping on stage?

Hi Community,

Is it possible to isolate a person rapping on stage? The reason for this task because the footage wasnt shot well and needing to isolate the person to keep her on a transparent background with her rapping audio.

Any good turtorials I can follow? The edit is on Premiere although I figured for the task is best done on after effects.

I'd start with rotobrush in After Effects. You can draw around a person and then monitor as it updates frame by frame. You'll probably have to stop it from time to time to adjust.

But you might also want to check out the new object mask feature in Premiere Pro that can cut people out from the background automatically
