how to select certain letters of a word with text index expression in ae

Hello everyone I don't know what expression to use to select specific letters of a word to apply a modifier to them, such as opacity. The idea is to be able to hide specific letters of a word. For example, in "Future" hide the u and r. The same can be achieved using charAt() but I don't know how to use it. Thanks

You will need to calculate the indices yourself using string processing. There is no built-in function for this.
