How To Set Track Point to Center of Composition

Community Beginner ,

After tracking an object in a video, is there a way to have that be the center point position of the composition? (In this case, the tracked object becomes a fixed point and the video moves around it)

Hi 5bravo,

Thanks for writing in.

Instead of tracking the footage, try stabilizing it. Here's a YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2lzMKkq_cg&ab_channel=MotionArrayTutorials

Let us know if it helps.

Thanks,

Nishu

Hi Nishu,

Thanks for the reply. The Stabilize tracking is what I've found to work best so far though it's a very time consuming process given the large number of frames I'm working with and higher resolution footage. Either way, it seems to be the best method so far!
