MP4, which is what is used by all the streaming services, no matter what kind of video you upload, has only 256 possible different values for Red, Green, and Blue, and the color is compressed into blocks of 4 pixels. When you have subtle color changes over a distance, as you have in a gradient, the bands are going to show up because there are not enough different values to work with. The solution to the problem is to add a little noise or grain to the image so that the bands of color get hidden in the random pattern of the noise or grain. It also helps if your Project settings are 16-bit so you have more colors (millions of values) for the grain or noise to randomize. The amount of grain required to hide the banding depends on the subtlety of the color transitions.
