How to stop Adobe After Effects from changing colors on Shared iMovie Footage

Hi,

We are having an issue with colors of footage apparently being altered by Adobe After Effects.

The footage we are having a problem with has been exported from iMovie using Codec Apple ProRes 422. We are performing an edit using Adobe After Effects to remove an object from the footage, and that footage is then also exported using Apple ProRes 422. No color correction has been applied.

When we preview both the original iMovie footage against the Adobe After Effects footage using QuickTime, we can see the colors have been altered by Adobe.

What would cause Adobe After Effects to alter colors?
