Hi,

I am doing a tutorial in AE and the person giving the lesson says to turn off the trim path before copying and pasting a copy into the other comp. His  timeline has 4 extra icons than mine. Therefore his Interface looks different than mine.

He did this in AE 6 and I am in 2017 AE CC.

I have done a screen cap to show the 4 extra icons, he has, that I cannot find. He gives no alternate way to turn off the trim path.

Thank you.

The arrow points to A/V features. It's usually to the left of The timeline panel. Show us your timeline in a full screenshot so we can see what is missing.

Hi, I tried this after your post but none of my choices match what I am seeing on the instructor's menu.

It gives me things like:comments, mode, switches, parent, etc. none look like those 4 icons or add the little on switch to the trim path.

Ok, they just seemed to appear to the far left of the timeline! It is the video, audio, solo and lock button.
