I cannot open After Effects 23.6

Have you tried running After Effect in Safe Mode with the third-party plug-ins disabled? Does it work? Do you see any crash reports?

Hi,

Thank you for your help. I tried safe mode and all of other option none of them worked. My gpu in RTX 3070 laptop. I updated the driver still didn’t work, tried older versions of driver and nothing changed.

Could you share a screenshot of the last loading module that you see on the splash screen right before it crashes? Also, try running After Effects as administrator (right-click the After Effects icon and select Run as administrator).

Thanks for your helps. I did run it as administrator, but nothing changes. This is the last loading module.

Thanks for the screenshot. Can you try moving all the content (except dummy.txt) of the Media Core folder to a different location (for example - your desktop) and then try to launch After Effects? Here's the location of the Media Core folder: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore

By moving the content to a different location, we're stopping After Effects from loading any third-party plug-in. It'll help us to narrow down if it's plug-ins related issue.

I see! That indicates this is not due to the third-party plug-in. Try running After Effects as administrator (right-click its icon and select Run as administrator). If that doesn't work, try creating a fresh admin account and launching After Effects in it to rule out any user account-related issues.
