i keep getting blue screen of death because of after effects

for more than a month, when i use ae once in few hours i get a bsod

even when i use blender i dont get a bsod

it might be something with ae 

please help

 

my specs are intel core i5 - 10400

ram in 16gb 

gpu is gtx 1660 super

 

please im begging for help. because everytime it happens the ae file gets corrupted and it's pain

Impossible to know without actual crash info. An excursion to your event viewer might be a good start.

Hello!
Thing is i don't even get an error message

everything is just freezing for something like 10 seconds and then i get a bsod

 

and it happens sometimes from some really small things like scrolling in the composition

The crash info is in your event viewer, so please have a look there. Even under worst conditions windows logs at least the crashing module and that info is essential to even come close to an educated guess.

ok so, i just checked, when it crashes its says "stop code: DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION"
