Today I used the power of generative AI for one of my client projects: it totally saved the shot!
Please see attached file.
Here's my workflow:
- In After Effects I instructed Content Aware Fill to create a reference frame, which then opened up in Photoshop Beta.
- In Photoshop Beta I had to change it from 32-bit to 16-bit, not merging the HDR color information
- I then created a selection around the area with the plastic and stones and instructed Ps Generative Fill to replace it with grass. I was totally amazed how it filled up the part of the wooden floor. A-ma-zing! For some reason, however, it recreated the grass with some kind of box, which I then selected and replaced with grass again.
- After saving out the file and returning to Ae, I tracked a mask around the area with the plastic and used Content Aware fill with the reference frame.
This is *truly* making me happy!

Thank you. I'm working on more clips, making things ever more challenging (e.g. removing multiple bikes/pedestrians/cars in a single shot). Will share result soon.
