Hello everyone! May I ask something, so I did upgraded my macbook OS to Sonoma, and I see a lot of bug in my mac, I can't also access to AE 2020 so I was thinking to downgrade my macOS. Does my After Effect preverence still be the same? I mean all of the plug ins and all. Thankyou.

The latest builds are working fine in Sanoma for me. You are going to lose a little performance if you roll back and stick with 2020. Any reason you are not updating? Thre are a lot of new features and things like Rotobrush and Camera Tracker are greatly improved.

I'll tell you why I don't want to leave after effects 2020, it's stable as hell. I have nevr had any issues with it ever. Now i feel like im being forced to with this whole macos sonoma thing, unfortunate.

it's crazy honestly, it makes no sense to fix the other versions for sonoma too. there are people who have spent thousands of dollars on plugins for them to only work with certain verions of after effects and other programs due to the license type and now will have either find a way to upgrade their third party plugin or buy it again just because adobe won't fix the other versions.

I think it's because I already feel comfortable with my 2020 version, and another thing is, I use AE just to improve my hobby in editing, not as for working or any other important reason, so that's why!

But once I have downgrade my mac OS (I have backuped up my mac so I guess it will be fine?) can my plug ins and my other setting still there? Thanks
