Hi,

Since After Effects 2020 on Mac iOS doesn't support Importing AAf File we cant really use efficiently the After Effects any longer.

unfortunately all the editors on our broadcast company doesn't use Adobe Premiere, they all use Avid.

Is there any other solution  to import AAF to After Effects? any script or plugins like what we had with Automatic Duck a few years ago?

Is Adobe is intend to integrate anytime the AAF import ability to Mac iOS?

Please advise..

Thanks

Importing the aaf into premiere pro and then replacing the sequence with an after effects comp as shown in this video worked for me on Mac OS, no crashing, no errors when viewing the after effects comp in my existing AE project

I need import a aaf from avid to after effects, and discovery this problem. Witch no much options, I create a temporary project on premiere, then import the aaf, and send to after effects via dinamic link. It's not a great resolution, buts works.

You can still import AAF in CC19 and then open the file in CC20.

Is there any progress with this or is it just dead? I recently upgraded to AE's latest and have had to go back to an older version just to import aaf and do a job. Super annoying. Can anyone explain why they did this or what Adobe's solution is?

Thanks
