Hi, I’d like to ask for some advice. I’ve received a set of videos shot on an iPhone 15 Pro in HDR. However, after importing them into After Effects, the overall color quality of these videos has worsened. I understand that my computer operates in SDR mode. To address this, I tried adjusting the color profile in Project Settings > Color and Interpret Footage > Color in AE. Despite trying many options, the video still doesn’t display acceptable colors. Interestingly, when I import the video into CapCut and simply re-export it, the colors match those from the iPhone. Could anyone advise me on which profile to set in AE to fix this?
Hi there,
Sorry for the issue. Could you let us know which After Effects version you're currently using? Please also go to Project Panel, right-click on your HDR video > Interpret Footage > Main > Color, and share a screenshot. These details will help us better understand the issue.
Thanks,
Ishan

Thanks for sharing the screenshots. Try changing the Override Media Color Space to "Working Color Space (color space name)" instead of "Embedded" in the Interpret Footage dialogue box.
Let us know if that helps.
Thanks,
Nishu
