Importing C4D files crashes AE

Every C4D file I attempt to import into the latest version of AE (25.5.0) causes it to crash. C4D imports work fine in AE 2024, so I'm using that as a work-around for the time being. I have the latest version of C4D and AE, and an up to date graphics driver for my GeForce RTX 4090. OS is Windows 11.

I use this workflow all the time in my work, so I'd live to see this fixed ASAP.

Sorry to hear about the crash. What happens if you go to File > New > Maxon Cinema 4D File? Does it crash or launch Cinema 4D Lite? Are there any crash reports when it crashes? If yes, provide your email id to it and submit. We'll be able to find your crash report in our system.
