This is after effect beta and I can't see mercury 3d like everyone else.
That is what the new 3D rendering engine is called. There is no list of unsupported features yet in the Composition/Advanced settings. Build 24.0.0 (44) has a short list of material options (press aa), and the layers and lights will not cast shadows.

What graphic card do you use? Would you check the system requirements of After Effects?

Thanks for the explanation. So there is no more mercury 3d? And where can I find the list of material options?

In the current build, there are only a few options. Select a 3D layer and press the A key twice to see what is available. That goes for any 3D layer, light, or camera.

Thanks for the tip Rick, yours is the only mention I can find of the issue. I'm on an M2Pro with 32gb & the beta with the new Advanced 3d replacement for Mercury only shows an empty bounding box for GLB 3D models. I suppose we'll wait to see if it comes back in future builds!

Yes, but it's been renamed to "Advanced 3D".
