Hi. So the question is simple. The first picture is a screenshot of my composition in AE with motion blur, The second one is an export with alpha. Is there a way to export a video with transparent BG and still have those blurry edges?

Can you share a creen capture of your render settings??. You can use the Straight Alpha export option when exporting to preserve those blurred areas without any problem. I know some editing systems don't interpet alpha channels correctly but you can change that. Where are you using your final render?

Can you tell me where is the option you're reffering to?
I'll be using it in another AE project and because it is really heavy wanted to make it into footage.

If you are using Adobe Media Encoder then you can use a Preset called Quicktime ProRes 4444 with alpha. If you create your render using the After Effects Render Queue then you can choose to use a Straight Alpha or a Premultiplied Alpha.

I am using exactly Apple ProRes 4444 with alpha and that's what's happening. Guess I'll try to export it in AE
