Just wondering when a functional version of After Effects is going to be released

Just found out the stable versions of AE (2019 and 2020) are no longer available to install. So I'm wondering when the newest stable release is going to be. 2021 randomly crashes on me all the time and 2022 is painfully slow.

Here are my specs (it's a Boxx build PC):

Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10980XE CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz

128 GB DDR4

2 x 1TB m.2 SSDs

2 x RTX 3090 GPUs

Windows 10 Pro 21H1

There is something going on with your system which is preventing the software from running well. Perhaps consider using the Adobe Cleaner tool.

Hi Robert1317,

Sorry for your issue.

I (personally) saw improvements in After Effects performance in this release. If it's not the same with you, we can definitely troubleshoot it. Does it happen in a particular project? Also, have you tried resetting the preferences of After Effects?

Let us know, we're here to help.

Thanks,

Nishu

I agree with Rob, that system of yours should play with Ae pretty decently. Out of curiosity, are the two GPUs in an SLI linked configuration?
