Hi Everyone!
Is it possible to key-frame parenting in AE? Without Plugin "Good Parent", or splitting Layer two two layers.
I have been searching for the answer but these two methods have been the only solutions I could find.

No, you can't.

No, there is no native way to do that.
iExpression also has an expression-based workaround:

I already saw a few scripts and plugins allowing to control timing for parent. It definitely is an answer, but I was also looking for an open-source option.
Thank You, for your time Mathias!

I've used a parent with another parent (I guess what could be called a grandparent), with the grandparent controlling the child layer through the parent from the start of the Comp to the hand-off time and then the parent taking over from the hand-off time to the end of the Comp.
Could that work for what you're trying to do now?

I understand what you are saying, however, what I am looking for is to "stick" objects to each other for the chosen time, and after that time, letting them go at their own speed and their own transformations, without them being connected to any null or control. Sticking their edges by connecting them by a Parent would seem like the easiest and quickest option. Your answer is very much helpful to workaround this missing AE option. However, what I understood there is no simple way to keyframe Parent control without plugin or script.
Thank you, and appreciate the answer Warren!
