Keyboard Shortcut for Fit up to 100% not working on german Keyboard

Hey Everyone,

I already searched the forum but could not find the right answer.

I am using AE 23.1.0 in english language with a german keyboard on a Mac. The Shortcut for "Fit up to 100%" (alt + /) is not working as there is no "/" on a german keyboard. Using "shift + 7", which is "/" results in adding a composition marker in the timeline. I have tried to reasign the shortcut in the Keyboard Shortcut Manager but the new shortcut is not working, no matter where i assign it to.

When I change my keyboard layout to english the shortcut "/" works, but I need to use the german layout.

I tried to edit the aeks-file manually, but this also does not work.

Any idea, why reassigning the shortcut does not work? What could I be doing wrong?

Thank you very much!

Does the 5 key on the numpad work? That would be an alternative.

Unfortunately not. Hitting 5 on the numpad selects layer number 5.

My bad. I misremembered. I changed it once to match the fit & center view command of a 3D program, but yes, it's not the same.
