Lift Timestamp from VHS footage

I have created a video that a client will be using in place of her father/daughter dance at her wedding. All of the footage has that old timestamp on it, analog video had. Is there a way to remove that timestamp? A simple-shaped mask did not seem to work

Also, I know I should have thought of this before editing, but I didn't. What's the best way to do it when I  created Subclips?

Hi Studio461,

Thanks for reaching out.

Content Aware Fill could be used to remove the timestamp. Not 100% sure if it'll give seamless results though. Here's an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NSVDbuwpyQ&ab_channel=BakersTuts

Let us know if this is what you're looking for.

Thanks,

Nishu
