Linking End of Work Areas in Several Comps

New Here ,

Hey,
My work requires a large volume of videos. I have created a template where I make changes to a Master Comp. and then render 17 videos based on the Master. However, when I make my Master, the duration changes, I was wondering if there was a way to link the end of a work area to my other comps. That way when I change my Master, the other comps duration also changes, instead of manually changing them as I am currenlty doing?

I dont think so.. but you can use presets and make it so whenever you make a new composition, it changes to that preset automatically.

Are all the comps in this project supposed to be the same as the master or do they each have their own unique duration that adds up to the master?

No, that's not possible. I suggest you check AEScripts.com. I'm pretty sure you can find a script to facilitate your workflows. The classic CompSetter would be one of them:
