Looking for a way to batch export AfterEffects video with a different layer each time.

My problem is the following :

I have a video I want to use as a background (lets call it x) and I have 100 layers in the foreground (lets call them repectively 1, 2, 3, 4,...etc.). I want to export 100 indivdual videos with x as a background everytime and a different layer each time in the following way 1x , 2x, 3x, 4x,...etc. I want to save time so I don't have to click on "activate/deactivate visiblity" + "export to ME" 100 times

I learned how to do this on photoshop with variables and data sets but I can't find anything on After Effects

Hope you can help me out

Thanks in advance

You can achieve this with scripting in the same way with Photoshop, but there are solutions out there that do this for you.  Check out Dataclay's Templater for After Effects:  https://dataclay.com/templater

You can use flag to control which layers should turn on / off or you can make a single layer dynamic and just swap out the layer footage source automatically before export.
