Lost After Effects settings

Hi.

After updating to recent version I lost my UI settings and presets.
Migrate popup did show up, but behind other apps, and when I found it sever hours later, it showed some kind of critical error and disappeared.
How do I migrate settings from older version like 2021? I don't have it installed but settings should be somwhere, right?

When you update, Creative cloud should ask you if you want to keep your settings. If you still don't have them you can locate them here:

Workspaces are in:

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\After Effects\[previous_version]\ModifiedWorkspaces.

You can drag all of these files to the new version folder where [previous_version]

Presets are in:

C:\Users\jakie\Documents\Adobe\[previous_version]\User Presets

Again, you can copy them over to the new version.
