Mac Pro 2019 with Radeon Pro Vega II Duo

I've rendered a few projects in After Effects and was surprised that the build in Mercury GPU acceleration did not kick in at all. It mereley utilises 3% of the GPU whereas the CPU well over 200%. What surprises me is that the Metal API is not shown at all only OPEN CL. Why can't I accelerate with the GPU?
