Mac Pro shutting down when rendering or processing footage in Premiere, ME, or AE

I have a 2019 Mac Pro

  • 2.7GHz 24‑core Intel Xeon W processor, Turbo Boost up to 4.4GHz
  • 32GB (4x8GB) of DDR4 ECC memory
  • 1TB SSD storage
  • Radeon Pro Vega II Duo with 2x32GB of HBM2 memory

6 months ago it started hard crashing  (turning it off) when I pushed it with Adobe apps.

This issue happened across multiple versions of Creative Suite including the latest 2021 versions.

The crash would happen when:

Lots of footage is imported into Premiere - would crash before the import took place

Scrubbing timeline in Premiere or AE

Rendering out of Premiere

Rendering out in Media encoder

Apple has since given me new processor, video card, ram, and logic board, but the issue still exists. We have done clean installs of OS as well as clean installs of the Adobe apps. Apple now is pointing its finger at Adobe for this issue.

At this point this machine is less useful than my macbook pro laptop with the number of crashes that it endures.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Michael
