Malen in AfterEffects - Pinsel malt "eckig"

Hallo,

mein Versuch, in After Effects einen Kreis, eine Wellenlinie und das Wort uhu mit dem Pinsel zu erstellen, ist gescheitert. Ich bekomme ein Vieleck, ZickZack und irgendwas, das mit Uhu nichts gemein hat. Egal, welche Mal- oder Pinseleinstellung ich vornehme. 

Ich habe schon überall nach einer Lösung gesucht, aber dieses Problem wird im WWW nirgends besprochen. Was kann ich tun?

What's the version of After Effects you're using? As an input device, are you using a mouse or something else? Do you mind sharing a screen recording of the issue to help understand the issue better?

It's 25.2.2, the latest version. It makes no difference whether I use my Wacom pen or the mouse. 

I will make a screen recording tomorrow. However, they are usually too big to attach here.
