These glitches are showing up where images should be in my renders. It also shows in the export settings preview as well. I've tried rendering using after effects too, but the same issue occurred.

Screen Shot 2022-10-07 at 2.17.37 pm.png

Export Settings:

H.264

Match Source high bitrate

1920 x 1080

After effects version 22.6

Media encoder version 22.6

I've tried using both GPU and software only rendering options.

And also tried relinking different image files but they all have the same problem.

This is happening across all of my projects.

Any fixes on this issue?

You need to be much more specific and provide info about your computer, your footage sources and so on. These look like simple decode errors which either could be a specific issue with e.g. PNG or JPG images or just as well issues with hardware acceleration on that end.

Thanks for your reply Mylenium. Here's some additional info

Computer Specs

MacOS Monterey Version 12.5.1

iMac 2019

Processor- 3GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5

Memory- 44GB 2400 MHz DDR4

Graphics- Radeon Pro 570X 4GB

470GB free storage

In terms of footage sources, it's happening to JPGs, PNGs and PSDs that I've imported into the footage. I've tried replacing them and reducing their file size. Projects that I previously had no issues rendering are now having the same issue.

They render fine on the two other iMacs I've tried.

Have you tried reinstalling v22.5 and rendering from there? Since you're on an intel Mac it could be a specific bug that only affects this part. Usually it tends to be the other way around with M1 Macs.
