Hello, the Photo-JPEG codec is not in After Effects.
Many other codecs are also missing.
I need the Photo-JPEG codec.
This codec has always been in the QUICKTIME section.
I'm installing codec packages and it does not change anything at all.
How can I reinstall it and show it?
How can I install new codecs?

There is nothing to install. QT support has been culled. Read the "What's new?" and "Known issues" sections in the online help.

I will look for information to be able to reinstall it.
But I'm installing new codecs and they do not appear in After Effects.
I feel very bad that Adobe has removed codecs.
It does not seem logical to me that a client has to have these problems.

QT has been dead for three years now ever since Apple declared the end of development. You should have long adapted yopur workflows. Totally not Adobe's fault (for once at least).

I agree, but the problem is that I can not install new codecs. To work as a VJ (videojockey) that codec was essential.
And using the own codec of Resolume (resolume.com). It will not let me install it.
The Photo-JPEG codec is extremely important for VJ programs.
How can I install codecs?
thanks for answering

Go back to a previous version of Ae. Support for any QuickTime 32 codecs has been removed from CC 2018. Those codecs may be installed on your machine, but they simply won't be recognized by CC 2018.

Hello! Did you find any workaround? I want to teach a group about NUVJ and it uses quicktime photo jpeg. My last attempt will be to activate and old macbook to do so.

Thanks for the message. Welcome to the forum! This codec is very old and not supported anymore. I am sorry you are relying on using that codec in Premiere Pro natively. The advice on the thread is to use FFMPEG or one of its variants, like Shutter Encoder. Can you try a test there by creating a new file and see if your group can work with it? Let the community know.
Thanks,
Kevin

Mylenium -
Do you recommend any other export codec from Premiere I could use that would work similarly?
Seems like Apple ProRes is the only other good option for my deliverables, but files are huge.
Thanks.

for delivery: If you don't need alpha, I'D recommend DNxHD/HR. if you do need alpha - ProRes4444. also Cineform is a good option with or without alpha.
if you are on Windows and want ProRes, you could purchase AfterCodecs and export ProRes easily from Ae (or Pr/AME)
If you are o.k with 8-bit, good old QT Animation is great. file size is big but you can compress it (zip) if you need to.

I’m using animation codec for a show today.
Files are heavy, but modul8 can run them very well.

It is recommended to export from After Effects to ProRes and install MPEG Streamclip .... http: //www.squared5.com and from there export to Photo-JPEG

This way worked fine, but not exporting as Photo-JPG. I converted my video to DXV 3, and Resolume said "WELCOME"
