Could you expand your layer masks to reveal them? It is neccesary to know what is exactly what you are doing with the masks. Also, you have applied a rotobrush effect that can affect what you are viewing in the composition panel. Probably is a workflow problem.

What happens if you deactivate the rotobrush effect?

Do you have your masks in substract mode?

The best training series for Mocha AE is here: Mocha Essentials

Spin down the Quick Intro and Starts section and spend Seven minutes learning the workflow, then get back to us if you have any problems creating the masks.

If you have trouble with a specific tutorial, please post a link to that tutorial so we can understand the workflow the presenter is trying to use. Unfortunately, there are a lot of tutorials prepared by enthusiasts anxious to share a recipe they discovered but the explanations and workflows are often flawed. I spend almost as much time on the forum trying to help people through flawed tutorials as I do helping with all other questions. You have to vet your trainers and spend the most time with the professionals. The number of views is no guarantee of quality.
