MP4 imports only audio no video

Adobe after effects fails cannot read any mp4 files, have cleaned cache tried with different mp4 files also tried installing till version 18 but nothing seems to be working. I request the support team to please provide a solution coz with this issue cant use after effects anymore, or else please mention that adobe doesnt support mp4 formats anymore.

Without any system info anmd details about the source and specs of the MPEG f9iles we can't really tell you much. Since this stuff relies on hardware accelerated decoding, start by updating your graphics driver and checking the relevant options.

these files were smoothly working on earlier versions, all drivers are updated only cant import on adobe softwares.

What other specs are needed if you can pls spcify

Sorry for your issue.

Your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version) and details of the footage (frame rate, frame size, source). Does it happen with all the mp4 files or with a particular one? Also, do you see any error messages?

Hi

here are details on system config and files also tried importing in other systems too but faced same problem

 

System Model - S2600CWR
Processor - Intel Xeon CPU E5-2697@2.3 GHz(64 cpu)
Ram - 64 gb
GPU - nvidia quadro P4000
OS - windows 10

happens with all mp4 files - video doesnt gets imported only Audio frame rate is 25fps or 24fps also for certain files, no error messages are seen

I'm sorry to but u guys are just not at all bothered about your customers problems n issues, are you guys going to bear the loss of time and inconvenience caused due to your inability to solve customers basic issues where we are not able to import any mp4 files, you are just going through lethargic procedure of yours why can't you guys do things on priority, this is worst n horrible and not acceptable. Now you are asking about videos and errors, I have clearly mentioned  the video doesn't get imported only audio and at times gives error of 86::1, your pace and manner of reply makes me feel you guys are in still in early 2000

please be responsible and give me a valid and helpful solution
