My After Effects 2021 keeps crashing whenever I use a preset.

My After Effects (2021) keeps crashing everytime I apply a preset, wether it is third party or built in, to any layer in any composition.

My pc specs are:

16gb ram

512 gb ssd

rtx 3050ti

amd ryzen 7

please help!

Welcome to the community, and sorry for the issue. Is there any specific reason you haven't updated After Effects to the most recent version? Do you see any error codes or messages? Have you tried resetting your preferences? Let us know.
